Beer time.
It’s starting to heat up in New Zealand so it’s time to try out a brand new beer festival coming to the city. [Featured Image: Gerrie van der Walt, Unsplash].
This weekend, there will be four sessions of The Beer Festival over two days for you to try out beers from over 30 different breweries and have a relaxing time.
If you’re not a fan of beer, don’t worry because there’ll be something for everyone. Organisers invite you down to try new flavoursome wines and ciders, all also produced by independent businesses. You’ll even get to take home a free beer glass, as well as a glass sling, at the end of the day.
Beer brewers and winemakers will have stands at the festival, and they will receive 100% of their sales made on the day. Every truck will also be offering some great $5 food options for you to wash down with their wonderful products.
Moreover, you can vote for your favourite brewer at the end of the day, and even dress up for the event! Organisers say there will be prizes for the top costumes. Merchandise is also set to be on offer through the day.
This festival is also using a “no cash” payment policy. You’ll need to load up some money onto their wristbands prior to the event, which you can spend throughout the beer festival. Water is also free everywhere for the event’s entirity.
The Beer Festival takes place on November 6 & 7, with the day’s first session lasting from 11am-3pm, and the second from 4pm-8pm.
