For all those who love a bit of suspense!

Auckland Writers Festival and Auckland Live are bringing you this phenomenal immersive theatre experience. From May 11 to May 16, you can take advantage of a universe of stories from some of the best literary artists and playwriters.

Already, this theatre production was a huge hit in London and New York. Blindness tells the tale of an unexplained mass epidemic of blindness affecting almost everyone in an unnamed European city.

Excitingly, the captivating theatre show Blindness was written by Tony Award Winner Simon Stephens and directed by Walter Meierjohann. Additionally, the story was adapted from Nobel Laureate José Saramago´s 1995 novel Blindness.

Prepare to be on the edge of your seat in a dark and glowing room as you experience the show through headphones. Expect full blackout periods, bright lights, suspense and emotional content. Wonderfully, the show will be led by Laurence Olivier Award-Winning Actress Juliet Stevenson.
