Fried Chicken Festival

Fried chicken lovers, this is your calling!

Auckland’s Fried Chicken Festival was meant to take place on August 21, but as a result of restrictions, it was cancelled. However, you can still prepare to indulge in all the chicken you can imagine because the event will happen on Saturday November 13.

For 2021, the festival promises to be bigger and better than previous years. Already, they have an incredible line up of fried chicken participants, including some of Auckland’s most eligible restaurants and food trucks.

Expect the greatest food porn of fried chicken-inspired dishes for the whole day down at the lush waterfront venue, Shed 10. There will be two sessions, the first taking place from 12-4pm, while the second will be between 5-9pm.

Excitingly, there will be an array of craft wine and beer, fun activities and live music to keep all you food enthusiasts entertained while you chow down on some scrumptious varieties of chicken. Plus, allĀ meals will be capped at $10, so you don’t need to worry about spending a fortune.

There will be tickets available on the door for $20. Alternatively, you can opt to purchase yours now via the Event Finda website. Unfortunately, with the current climate, it is important to keep up to date with covid-19 restrictions. Nevertheless, be sure to mark this iconic chicken festival on your calendar.
