The White Lady is a well-known fast food truck in Auckland turning 75 today, on March 28, 2023. Loved by Aucklanders across the city, it has been serving the best fries, burgers and milkshakes since the late 1940s.

The historic food truck was founded on Easter weekend in 1948 by the late Bryan ”Pop” Washer. Today The White Lady continues to thrive within the same family, passed down through generations, and is now currently run by Peter and Anna Washer.
Most Aucklanders will have fond nostalgic memories of The White Lady growing up as a popular eating and hangout location.
