One of the world’s most acclaimed Titanic exhibitions is making its way to Auckland. Following celebrated runs across the USA, the UK and Australia, Titanic. From the moment you enter, you’ll travel back more than a century to experience life aboard the legendary ship. Wander through carefully recreated interiors that reveal the striking contrast between the elegance of first-class travel and the everyday reality of third-class passengers. An immersive audio guide, featuring original testimonies, music and atmospheric sound design, accompanies you through each space, offering a moving perspective on the people who boarded the Titanic with hopes, dreams and plans for the future.
Among the exhibition’s most remarkable features is its collection of more than 200 authentic artefacts, including items recovered from the Titanic wreck site.
