This sounds absolutely wooftastic.

‘Woofstock’ might just be the best play on words we’ve ever heard? Anyone got anything better? [Featured Image: Steve Tsang, Unsplash].

But seriously, Woodstock 2020 is hitting up Auckland this month and it promises to be fun for you and your furry best friends. Plus, it’s all for a great cause.

On Sunday, November 22, Woodstock will set up its free event at Milford reserve. It’s a chance to celebrate the love between humans and canines, while educating visitors on the importance of pet adoption and other topics.

Animal rescue groups will be at the event to offer out names of dog shelters in case they wish to help a dog that needs a new home.

There are many activities to take part in, too. A 1.5km walk along the stunning beautiful Milford beach, retail spots, food trucks and live entertainment are just some of the goings on that visitors can enjoy at the very first Woofstock. Also, of course, you’ll be able to get plenty of photo opportunities, as well as giving your beloved dogs the chance to make some new friends.

This sounds like an absolutely lovely time. If it sounds like something you’d like, check out the Woofstock 2020 Facebook event here.
