ChiChop is Taiwanese restaurant hidden in plain sight at the University of Auckland. Selling huge portions of fried chicken as big as your face, seafood, boas, bento boxes and much more…it’s a wonder some Aucklanders don’t even know it exists.
Certainly, the extra large Fried Chicken portions have been making a serious impression on Auckland foodies. It consists of deeply fried marinated breaded chicken cut up into pieces and served with sauces. Choose between XL for $10.99 or XXL for $13.99. Plus, it’s too big for one person so it’s a perfect shared meal at a low-cost.
Additionally, you can’t enjoy your OTT extra large chicken without something from the drinks menu. Excellently, there’s a wide range of unique beverages to order. Think milkshakes, bubble teas like Charcoal Baked Milk Tea and Soy Milk, iced mochas and even award-winning coffee beans, to name a few.
As the restaurant hasn’t got much of an internet presence, you’ll have to take our word for it and grab a mate to try out this totally instagrammable extra large chicken in Auckland.
