Azabu Mission Bay and Roku Gin teamed up to bring an enchanting multi-sensory Japanese dining and gin tasting experience called Hanami to Auckland.
Hanami is a 1,000-year-old festival celebrating the temporal beauty of nature and rich traditions of ancient Japanese culture in honour of Spring. Excellently, Azabu Restaurant specialises in Japanese cuisine with a Peruvian influence. Located the beachfront, the premises has been decked out in blooms of cherry blossoms specifically for the event.
Enjoy one-of-a-kind Azabu dining paired with the best beverages to compliment your meal. For instance, the curated gin cocktails, showcasing vibrant botanical flavours of Roku Gin, will send your tastebuds on an adventure. From sakura leaf to green tea, sakura blossom and yuzu peel…flavours are just splendid.
Plus, there are six signature drinks to select from. Highlights include the Roku Spring Highball with rhubarb liquor, a Japanese G&T and the Roku Sakura with lillet rose, lime juice, elderflower, orange blossom water, prosecco and orange zest, to name a few.
This immersive dining and tasting experience is available until November 27 in Auckland. Additionally, there’s a sakura-themed Sip & Paint Class option with Azabu delicacies and Roku gin pairings.
