Taco Medic is the first gluten-free craft tacos restaurant in New Zealand. It was born from a food truck in Queenstown. Delightfully, Taco Medic opened two restaurants in Auckland this year. It launched its first taqueria at Ponsonby earlier in the year, followed by another joint at Quay Street in August.
Diners can expect tasty, handcrafted and gluten-free corn tacos, made from scratch, topped with the freshest local ingredients. With a wide variety of flavours, all types of foodies will be seriously satisfied.
All tacos are set at $8 and menu highlights include chicken, pork, beef brisket as well as some ocean-inspired tacos such as prawns and fried fish. Plus, there’s a couple of vegan options to keep everyone in your group happy. If you go on Taco Tuesday, get them for just $6 each.
Of course, the Mexican feast doesn’t end there. Add the likes of Loaded Nachos ($17) with a choice of meats or sides like Chicken Tenders ($8) to make your meal even more satisfying. Definitely, this is the perfect idea for a shared meal with friends.
Additionally, nothing makes a taco feast more exciting than frozen margaritas ($14). If the margs aren’t your thing, opt for wine ($14), local craft prints ($11), tequila shots ($12) and plenty of non-alcoholic beverages to wash down your meal.
Taco Medic opens daily in Auckland from 11am-9pm.
