The Auckland Pride Festival will kick off its 2022 celebrations on February 1 until February 27, 2022, according to organisers. Commemorating 50 years of Pride, the month-long festivity will include an array of wonderful events, for the LGBTQI+ communities, that will reflect and amplify rainbow voices.

For example, on February 3, The Pride Gala will return with a focus on embracing pride whakapapa and queer creative excellence. Meanwhile, from February 10 to 12, the F.I.N.E Festival will occur with an appearance by famous LGBTQIA+ Pasifika activities, artists and community leaders.

Additionally, on February 13, Ending HIV Big Gay Out will return to Coyle Park for rainbow-filled music, dancing and Thirst Trap Vogue Ball with House of Aitu, among 10,000 attendees.

According to organisers, more key events will be added to the Auckland Pride Festival 2022 programme in December. So, keep an eye on their social media pages. Consequently, get ready for a month of love and fun this coming February.
