You’ll be able to enjoy piña coladas on the sand to your heart’s content as music plays around you at Waterbourne. The three-week affair is New Zealand’s biggest beach festival, taking place on the Takapuna beach.
During the festival — February 27-March 21 — a rooftop bar will be on hand to hold 300 people, providing access to 11 different music events. Over 30 acts are performing, but only four of the events are ticketed. You can be granted views right by the stage through the VIP bar.
Activities at the festival are endless. On top of the live music, you’ll also be able to go windsurfing; catch some stand-up comedy; watch movies on the big-screen; watch the kitefoiling championships; gorge on a variety of cuisines; take part in the fun run; plus much, much more.
This is one you seriously don’t want to miss to see off the summer in the best style possible. View the full lineups and schedule of events over at the Waterbourne page.
