This is going to be beautiful.
Auckland Harbour Bridge is definitely the place to be if you happen to be out for an evening stroll, just as the sun bids farewell to another day in New Zealand.
That’s because it will be lighting up blue every day this week for Waitangi day. It will light up blue to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi all the way back in 1840. From February 3-8, passers by will be stunned by the light show over at the harbour.

The smart energy vector lights are sure to go down a treat. They are the world’s first solar, battery and peer-to-peer show aiming to sustainably power cities.
And, if you somehow miss them, never fear. They will be back before you know it.
The harbour will also light up for Auckland Pride Festival , shining in rainbow colours to celebrate Auckland’s wonderful mix of cultures, genders and sexualities. The harbour will light up between February 16-21.
Lights on the harbour will shine between 9pm-11.59pm each day.
