With 41 productions under the belt, Montreal circus legends Cirque du Soleil are known for their jaw-dropping performances around the world. What makes ‘CRYSTAL’ different, is that it’s their very first production performed on ice.
Not only does the ‘CRYSTAL’ show combine a selection of circus performances on ice — everything from figure and extreme skating to aerial aerobics — word on the street is that remastered pop songs also feature, including Halo by Beyonce, Chandelier by Sia, even Beautiful Day by U2.
The show is coming to New Zealand in 2023, popping up in Auckland and Christchurch across June and July before hopping across the water to tour Australia’s major cities. But since NZ is getting it first, we’ll be the first ones in this part of the world to experience the spectacular feats of acrobatic on ice.
