Aigo Noodle Bar is a trendy new restaurant serving Korean food with a creative twist, concepted by David Lee – owner of The Candy Shop, Gochu and Poni, to name a few.
Located in Ponsonby, the new 60-seater restaurant focuses on a combination of Korean and Italian cuisine. Whether it be lunch or dinner, expect never-seen-before in Auckland inventive and indulgent meals, from creative hand-pulled noodles to wagyu kimchi chimichurri – all at an affordable value.
Highlights include Cacio e Pepe Tteokbokki ($20), which is a chewy rice cake noodle dish that resembles pasta, dripping in torched cheese and truffle sauce. The likes of shared dishes, drooling Scampi Prawn Meatballs ($28) and Cloudy Bay Clams with hand-pulled noodles ($25) for seafood lovers, while Yangnyeom Chicken ($20) topped with corn chips and Kimcheese Fries ($20) are crowd favourites.
