This surreal series is based on true events that took place in the 1970s along the hippie trail in South East Asia. Charles Sobhraj was a master murderer and con artist who posed as a gem dealer, committed an array of crimes, and preyed on innocent travellers, along with the help of his girlfriend and sidekick. Tahar Rahim gives a breathtaking performance as Charles, who is eventually brought to justice. Certainly, the true crime show you cannot miss this month.

When season one hit our screens in 2020, we just couldn’t get enough. And now, season two has just dropped on Netflix. This series follows a group of teens in Outer Banks in North Carolina, who uncover secrets along with hidden gold in their hometown, which leads to devastating consequences.
